65th Annual Edgerton Dutch Festival
July 11 & 12, 2014

     Mark your calendars for an exciting weekend of events!

Several youth groups are raising funds for mission work
this weekend.  Please support them if you can!

Bethel CRC Youth Group is selling cotton candy & snow cones
in the City Park: 
Friday from 5-9:00pm and
Saturday from 10am-9:00pm

Reformed Church Youth Group is selling corn dogs & hot dogs
in the City Park: 
Friday from 4:30-8:30pm and
Saturday from 4:30-9:30pm 

This year's activities will include:


The ECES FOODSTAND begins serving tonight at 5pm. Menu items include brats, 
hotdogs and Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream. Saturday's choices include bbqs, 
grilled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, coney dogs, grilled 
burgers, and pie.


5:00-8:00pm  -  CRUISE-IN CAR SHOW
Have a car, truck, tractor, semi, motorcycle or anything else with wheels that you would like to show off? Bring it on down to the Cruise-In on Mill Street near the City Park.  There is no entry fee, and the event is free to the public.  There will be a food stand, beer garden and DJ on site.  Anyone who brings in a vehicle for the show gets $5 off admission to the evening concert. 


8:00pm-12:00am  -  DUELING PIANOS followed by ANDY GIBSON BAND
Back by popular demand!  This event begins with an exciting dueling piano show that includes lots of audience participation and requests. These guys are really talented, so you will definitely want to make it to this show. The second half of the show, which begins at 10:00pm, is a contemporary country rock band performance. The shows will take place at the west baseball diamonds at the City Park; concessions will be available.  Advance tickets are $10; $12 at the gate. Kids 7 & under are FREE. Tickets are available for purchase at Drooger's Food Center, Huisken Market, First State Bank and Katie's Closet.

9:00-10:30am  -  TEEN SWIM
at the Edgerton City Pool; cost is $3



6:00-10:00am  -  PANCAKE BREAKFAST
at the Emergency Services building on Mechanic and Mill Streets; sponsored by the Edgerton Volunteer Fire & Ambulance teams.

7:30am  -  DUTCH FUN RUN
Sponsored by the Edgerton Chamber of Commerce; includes a 5k-walk, a 5k-run and a 10-k run. Starts on the corner of Main and Howard Streets by the DeBoer Chev car lot. You must be registered by June 30 to receive a t-shirt or door prizes. You may register up until race begins. Registration that morning begins at 7:00am. at the City Park tennis courts; ages 4-11 will compete for trophies; all area children are welcome to participate (tractors will be provided).

Noon-2:00pm  -  CRAFT FAIR
South shelter at the City Park; 20+ vendors participating!

Events for all ages and all levels of swimmers 

12:00-6:00pm  -  BEAN BAG TOURNAMENT
Last year's tournament was a huge success so we're bringing it back again this year! The event filled up quickly - don't wait to register. Find a teammate and then call Ross Kreun at 507-227-5894 to reserve your spot. Registration begins at 11:30am at the south shelter in the City Park. Registration fee is $20 for the team. Cash prizes awarded. Food and beverages available at the park all day (sorry...no coolers allowed).


1:00-6:00pm  -  INFLATABLES with a WATER FEATURE!
at the Edgerton City Park; unlimited participation for $10/kid!

7:00pm  -  PARADE
Big bands, home-made neighborhood floats and antiques make this one of the best parades in the area! This year's theme of "FAVORITE SPORT/SPORTS MEMORY" will be sure to inspire creative thinking.


Always a popular event at our festival! Taking place at the City Park. Concessions will be available. Advance ticket prices are $12/adults and $6/kids 6-12. At-the gate prices are $14/adult; $7/kids 6-12; free for kids 5 & under.  Tickets are available for purchase at Drooger's Food Center, Huisken Market, First State Bank and Katie's Closet.

10:30pm  -  FIREWORKS

Community worship service at the City Park; rain/bad weather location is First Christian Reformed Church.
