THURSDAY'S EVENTS:

5:00-10:00pm  -  MIDWAY
Amusement rides are back at the Dutch Festival! Midwest Rides will be providing amusement park rides, games and traditional fair food. Located just north of the City Park on Mill Street. Advance tickets are 8 for $18 (good for 8 rides). Tickets at the gate are 18 for $20 (good for 4.5 rides).  Advance tickets can be purchased at the Cenex C-Store, Drooger's Food Center, First State Bank SW and Huisken Market.

FRIDAY'S EVENTS:

9:00am-2:15pm  -  FACILITY TOURS AT FEY INDUSTRIES
Fey Industries, Edgerton's largest employer, is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary this year! Today they will be offering facility tours to provide local residents with a view of the types of products they make and the manufacturing processes utilized.  While the operation is more complex and with broader range of core manufacturing processes from when John Fey started the company in 1965, they continue to strive to fulfill his initial purpose of providing jobs to local people so they can get home for dinner with their families.

3:00pm-Midnight  -  MIDWAY

4:00-9:00pm  -  HOT DOG/CORN DOG TRAILER
The Youth Group from the Reformed Church will be selling corn dogs, hot dogs and their "Big Dog Daddy" (loaded foot long).  Look for their trailers in two locations: 1) by the Edgerton Vet Clinic on Main Street and Mill Street; and 2) by the tennis courts at the City Park.  Al proceeds go to support youth group mission trips.

5:00-8:30pm  -  ECES FOODSTAND
Located in the north shelter at the City Park (just off Mill Street).  Menu choices today include hot dogs, brats, pulled pork sandwiches, BBQs, Cold Stone ice cream and assorted beverages.

5:00-8:00pm  -  LOCAL TALENT SHOW
at the City Park

5:00-8:00pm  -  CRUISE-IN CAR SHOW
Have a car, truck, tractor, semi, motorcycle or anything else with wheels that you would like to show off?  Bring it on down to the Cruise-In on Main Street. There is no entry fee, and the event is free to the public. There will be a food stand, beer garden and DJ on site spinning "car tunes"! Anyone who brings in a vehicle for the show gets $5 off admission to the Johnny Holm Band concert.

5:00-8:00pm - BBQ COOK-OFF
Help us raise funds for Edgerton's new Habitat for Humanity House! You will be smelling bbq all afternoon - the Pit Masters will start cooking early in the day and will begin serving the public at 5pm (judging starts at 4pm). Introduction of the judges and announcement of the winning Pit Master will begin at 6pm. A people's choice award will go to the Pit Master with the most tips received by 6pm.

8:30pm  -  JOHNNY HOLM BAND

Surrounding himself with the finest musicians in the Midwest, Johnny and his band masquerade as a rock and roll band. Mostly impromptu, the show moves along with the speed of lightening. The show is dedicated to the fans, and they do most of the entertaining. "Be hip most of your life, but once in a while let down and get HOLM FEVER"! Concert will take place by the softball field in the City Park. Advance tickets are $12; at the gate price is $15. Kids 7 & under FREE! Advance tickets can be purchased at the Cenex C-Store, First State Bank SW and Huisken Market.

SATURDAY'S EVENTS:

6:00am-10:00am  -  PANCAKE & SAUSAGE BREAKFAST
Sponsored by the Edgerton Volunteer Ambulance Association and Fire Departments. Pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee available. The breakfast will be served at the Emergency Services building on Mill Street.

7:00am  -  DUTCH FUN RUN
Sponsored by the Edgerton Chamber of Commerce; includes a 5k-walk, a 5k-run and a 10k-run. Starts on the corner of Main and Howard Streets by the DeBoer Chevrolet car lot. You must be registered by June 30 to receive a t-shirt or door prize, but you may register up until the race begins. Registration that morning begins at 7:00am; race begins at 7:30am. Questions? 8:00am-3:00pm  -  GIRLS 12 & UNDER SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
Taking place at the ball diamonds at the City Park.

9:00am  -  KIDS PEDAL TRACTOR PULL
Takes place at the City Park. Ages 4-11 will complete for trophies. All area children are welcome to participate (tractors will be provided).

10:00am-1:00pm  -  CHAIRS IN BLOOM Contest
Taking place at the City Park by the Craft Fair. In addition to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and youth division prizes there will be a People's Choice Award with proceeds raised going to swimming pool improvements.  Here are the contest rules: 1) plants must be in a chair of any kind; 2) no artificial flowers or vines; no dried flowers or vines - all plants must be alive; 3) accessories are permitted; 4) all plants must be identified on a 3"x5" card. Chairs will be judged on creativity, plant selection, overall appearance, shape and form.

11:00am-9:00pm  -  ECES FOODSTAND

11:00am-2:00pm  -  CRAFT FAIR
taking place at and near the South Shelter in the City Park

11:15am - FISHING CONTEST
All kids under 16 are invited to participate, but younger children must be supervised. Will be held at Dave Hulstein's pit, which is approximately 1.5 miles north of the 160th Ave and 21st Street intersection (head north from the Edgerton cemetery). Bait will be available for purchase if needed. Prizes will be awarded based on fish length in the following age groups:  1-5 years old; 6-10 years old; and 11-15 years old.  No registration is needed.  Event will last 1 hour.  Contact Craig Fey at 507-227-6342. Guaranteed fun - hopefully in the sun!

12:00-6:00pm  -  3rd ANNUAL BEAN BAG TOURNAMENT
Taking place near the South Shelter in the City Park. Registration begins at 11:30am. Beer Garden & concessions will be available. Contact Ross Kreun at 507-227-5894 for more information.

1:30-3:00pm  -  FIREMAN WATER CHALLENGE
New to the activities this year!  Taking place on Main Street near the End Zone.

2:00-5:00pm  -  MUSIC IN THE PARK
Singer Gloria Jean will be performing "tribute" music by Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn at the Edgerton City Park.

4:00-5:00pm - SIDEWALK ART CONTEST
Taking place on the Edgerton tennis courts this year. Contact Marilyn DeKam at 507-442-8123 with questions.

7:00pm  -  PARADE
Big bands, home-made neighborhood floats and antiques make this one of the best parades in the area! This year's theme of "NIGHT AT THE MOVIES" will be sure to inspire creative thinking!  The parade route begins on the west end of Elizabeth Street (by Southwest MN Christian HS), heads east on Elizabeth then south on Main Street.

8:30pm  -  DIRT KICKIN' WICKED GOOD BULL RIDING
Always a popular event at our festival! Taking place at the City Park. Advance tickets are $12; at the gate price is $15. Kids 7 & under FREE! Advance tickets can be purchased at the Cenex C-Store, First State Bank SW and Huisken Market.

Community worship service at the City park; rain/bad weather location is First Christian Reformed Church.
