  • Edgerton's Community Chest fundraiser takes place today. This year's goal is to raise $8000 for these local programs: Ambulance & Fire Departments; Public Library; Local Boy & Girl Scouts; Summer Rec Program; Bloodmobile expenses; Legion Auxiliary; Sr. Citizen's Center; Home-delivered meals; Hope Haven activities; Edgerton Museum; and Edgebrook Auxiliary. All of the money collected stays in town to support these local programs. If someone does not stop by your house and you would like to give, please call or stop by the Deputy Registrar's office on Main Street. THANK YOU!
  • Our Edgerton Boy Scout's are selling their awesome Trail's End popcorn again! Choices include: microwave, popping and pre-popped choices (such as cheesy, chocolate, butter toffee, caramel corn and more). If you haven't been contacted by a scout yet and would like to make a purchase, please contact Scott Bloemendaal at 507-227-3674. Popcorn is available for purchase though today. THANKS for supporting our local Boy Scout troop!

  • Edgebrook is again hosting it's annual HALLOWEEN TREATS for children from 2-3:00pm (or when the candy runs out). Donations of candy are GLADLY accepted (drop-off spots are at Edgebrook, Droogers Food Center and Huisken Market).

  • Southwest MN Christian HS Circles are hosting their annual FALL SOUP SUPPER today from 5:30-7:30pm in the gym. Choices include chili, cheesy vegetable, chicken and pea soups, bar-b-ques, desserts and refreshments. Donations gratefully accepted.

  • SWMCH students invite you to their Fine Arts Night beginning at 7pm. Join them for an evening of improvisation, art, and readings. The Players, their improv group, will present several impromptu sketches. The art classes will display some of their work. And the winners of the Den Ouden writing contest will share their pieces as well. Will take place in the Music Room.

  • This year's Veteran's Day Program will take place in the SWMCH gym beginning at 10:30am. Major General Gerald Lang, retired from the Army on August 1, will be the guest speaker. Major General Lang was born and raised in Minnesota. He and his family currently live in Sauk Rapids. Please join us as we celebrate those who have served and continue to serve on our behalf.

  • Sr. RCYF Soup Supper at First Reformed Church from 5:00-7:00pm today. Serving chili, chicken noodle, pea and creamy vegetable soups, BBQs & desserts. Free will offering. Proceeds will go towards their future mission trips.

  • The Presbyterian Church invites you to it's annual ROAST BEEF SUPPER. Serving time is 5-7:00pm. Cost is $9/adults and $5/kids ages 7-12 (6 and under eat free). Menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, coleslaw, tea rolls, pie, milk and coffee.
